梁秋华教授回国前是英国纽卡斯尔大学的水系统模拟方向的终身首席教授,在英国工作期间,主持和参与了英国工程物理科学研究理事会(EPSRC)和自然环境研究理事会(NERC)(英国的研究理事会相当于我国的自然科学基金委)资助科研项目近20项,其中包括重点专项资助项目6项。回国工作后,主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项,参与十三五重点专项课题2项,并获得河北省科技厅高层次人才科研项目资助200万元,用于建立水信息及灾害恢复国际研究中心
